It was pretty fun. I hadn't used my mosin in a while nor put some AP ammo to its intended use. Probably should have named the thread something more appealing.:p

I'm about to do that to one of mine. Crashed the heads, and the data on it isn't worth the cost of recovery.

I would say those drives are completely unrecoverable.
