Colt question

What ser# range did Colt change to small pin fcg pins? How else can you determine whether a Colt is small or large pin?

I've heard around serial number 50,000

They began transitioning around the same time the 6940 was released since all 6940s are standard pins. The lowest I saw was 48,xxx which is right around the first 6940s. The only way to tell is to mic them.
