Waiting on my new POF 16" 415

I ordered my first AR a month ago. I am getting a POF 415 16" carbine with the 9" predator rail handguard. I can not wait to get it. I alreay have bought the scope, an ACOG 4X W/a GGG AccuCam base, and I also ordered a "can" from SRT(Atlas Hurricane Typhoon).
What do you guys think. Did I get it right the first time? I sold a lot of my old guns to make this happen. I always wanted a rifle with a sound suppresor, and I like the AR platform. I also purchased the Surefire X200A handgun light for the rail. I wanted a quality light, but not to heavy. I plan on leaving the light attatched all the time.
I also ordered the new Xenonics "Supervision" NVD.
I like to say "luck favors the prepared".:)

yeah, i ordered mine last week , my dealer said 13 weeks . what did you pay , if you dont mind me asking ?

$1800 plus I am havinf them add a Vortec flash suppresor and a Troy flip up rear sight(not sure what they will charge for those yet). I still have a month or two till I get it.
How many of you guys own POF AR's? Do you notice much difference in the feel of recoil with the gas rod system? Pro's and con's?Words of advise?

I don't own a POF but I do have a 16" Bushmaster piston upper that my boss loaned me to test. He told me to put 1K rounds through it and give it back. I pulled the front flip up YHM iron sight and carry handle off and installed my LMT MRP fixed front sight, a Larue BUIS and an Aimpoint w/Larue mount. I haven't fired it yet.

Did you see my picture thread on my new POF416 upper?

I gotta get out and shoot it again to make sure the locking back problem was a buffer issue.

yeah i saw your thread - very nice and you can see the evolution of the uppers . from what ive been hearing the bushmaster is the pof system under liscense.

It sure looks that way. The key on the bolt is spot on for the old POF.

I need to get some under the handguards pics up. I might do that later today.
