View Full Version : Good place to get FH pin/welded on please.
I need to have a FH permanently attached to a barrel. I had one done before on another build and the weld was not as clean as I had wanted. Anyone have any suggestions of a shop I can send the build to that can do a nice, clean job pinnning and welding a FH. Thanks guys. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

I would take it to a local gunsmith and ask them first. Any local metal shop should be able to do this, and if you have a high end auto performance shop near you they should be able to do a nice job too. But try a gunsmith first, if they cant do it, ask them if they can recommend someone. Im sure theres someone that is more familiar with this. Me personally, Im not shipping my stuff out, so a local solution would fit me best.
JB Weld??? lol

Drew at WAR Rifles (www.warriflesonline.com) does it, he can do Surefire and has even done a KAC Triple Tap comp.
Thanks for the suggestions. The FH is an aac blackout (non-suppressor mount). I have been told these are a little harder to drill. I will definitely check out War Rifles.
ADCO does an excellent job with a fast turn around.
www.pkfirearms.com also sells pre drilled blackouts, which might make the job easier for your local smith.
ADCO did Mine and it was turned around in a week and was a good Price .top notch work
Randall at AR15barrels.com is 3 miles from me which makes life easy.
When he gets back from SHOT, he's chopping and pinning an A2 on my M16A2 carbine clone.
Debating if I want him to chop my DDM4 down to 14.7 and pinning the A2 on that.
Another vote for ADCO. They do excellent work and a very fast turn around time.
Can anyone post a photo of adco's work. And thanks for the responses.
I had mine done at ADCO. Fast service!
