Looking at picking up a stainless model from a local dealer for a pretty good price. There are a couple things I don't like about the gun but most I know I can fix. My concern is the sights.
What are my options to replace these sights without spending an arm and a leg getting someone to mill the gun. At that point I would just wait for a Loaded model or get an STI.
Secondly is there anything I should watch for on these models? I know they are not exactly ideal defensive weapons but I prefer my firearms to be as near perfect as possible and have no experience with SA 1911s.
