View Full Version : New Colt 6920 owner, one question
Okay,
First, off thanks to everyone for this site, it allowed me to make an informed decision on my first AR purchase.
Second, The side mount front sling swivel. How do I switch it around so it's on the ejection port side of the weapon for this left handed shooter? I'm sure it's simple but I thought I'd ask before I do something I shouldn't.
thanks,
N8dawg16
Tap out the roll pin, reverse assembly, reinstall. :)
Thanks, that's what I thought I needed to do.

www.cheaperthandirt.com is also another good source for AR parts kits, just be sure you specify aftermarket or original parts for your rifle! Hope this helps.

No, buy quality the first time around... G&R Tactical has them:

Bought yourself an excellent weapon. Take it to a quality training class and put it through its paces. The 6920 is the standard.
I bet he has it sorted by now. ;)

Don't mean to side jack, but Grant, any idea if this side swivel will work with a Surefire M500 with the navigation lights?

Will they both mount up- Yes
Will they interfere with each other- YES
PS the OP is a year old, so don't think you are hijacking... :)
