I saw a thread on here earlier about switching the factory front sling swivel On a 6920 around to the other side. The answer was to tap out the roll pin, switch sides and assemble. Here's my question, do you tap out both pins or just either the top or bottom one? Is there a right or wrong way to do it? Screwdriver and hammer? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Don't use a screwdriver, use a punch. A roll pin punch if you have one, but a punch at least.

I don't remember which pin I took out of mine. It's bee awhile since I dealt with one of these.

I've been messing with these things lately and found that on mine I had to remove both pins to avoid bending anything.

What size/number punch did you use?

One that fit.

;)

Dunno - I think I used a larger punch to move the pins flush with the crossblock and then a 1/16" to drive them through. Whatever fits, it's not difficult.

IIRC, 1/8 is the pin / punch size for the sling swivel.
