I want to load some 223/5.56mm ammo close to XM193 55gr. Does anybody reload 5.56mm ammo somewhere near Vel close to XM193 55gr or Q3131 55gr ?

I don't have the answer to your question, but would like to know also. Are you sure that you mean Q3131? The Q3131 that I have shot has been weak compared to XM193. This was a few years ago though. Perhaps things have changed. Are you sure that you're not talking about Q3131A? It is full power 5.56 like XM193, but is made in Israel.

Q3131 is indeed full power M193. In fact it has a reputation for blowing primers amongst carbean instructors.

Never chrono'd any XM193.

I have been loading my .223/5.56 with 25g of H335 behind a 55g FMJ and using a mix of SRP and SRMP and felt recoil compared to XM193 is pretty good. I think you will find a lot of people running the 25g of H335 for 55g ammo.

We did. I was getting 3360 FPS out of a 20" barrel at 7 yards. I don't know why anyone would want to duplicate such a hot load.

It only serves to increase wear on your weapon.

Here are my chrono results out of a Sabre 14.5" barrel:
Fed 55gr FMJ XM193 in Stag AR15: 3036fps Standard Deviation: 15fps
Prvi 55gr FMJ M193 in Stag AR15: 3050fps Standard Deviation: 23fps
Rem 55gr FMJ in Stag AR15: 2872fps

Does anybody have any home rolled loads close to XM193 or slower at Lower Pressure,not so Hot of a load?
