i have a walther PP,6 digit sn,with a lanyad loop,very good bluing,32 cal.
how do i find the manufacture date on my lil'pp?

I posted a list of all the markings along with the serial no. and got a reply in two days. Mine has 6 numbers and a letter, which turned out to be 1944. Post from pic thread (https://www.m4carbine.net/showpost.php?p=32943&postcount=19) Less numbers doesn't necesarily mean older though. I know of one with 5 numbers which was a 70's era 9mm Kurtz.
