Stick, does the Centurion C4 Carbine or Mid cut-out rail work with an Adams Arms piston system?
I've always wondered that and no one seems to be able to give a straight answer.
Did you ever get an answer to this question?

Not from me he didn't, I don't own an AA kit so I'm no help.

Stick I know you don't know the answer, go back to taking pics :p Centurion emailed and advised me their current production will fit an AA kit. However, they didn't specify what distinguished a current production rail.
EDIT: Well, got an email back from Centurion. Apparently, if the laser T-marks on the top rail have a T18A, they are Adams Arms compatible, which is why they denoted it with an A. Older production models that are marked T18 are not compatible.
My contribution to this thread. 16" mid-length barrel with a 10" rail.

Thanks for the research!
Rainier Arms also notes in the product description that the 9.0:

are Adams Arms compatible.

Is the rail you just picked up an Alpha series, or is it an earlier one?

Standard C4 mid-length cutout.
That piston kit isn't going to help much with that rail... let me see what I can do.
Any plans to offer these in a slick rail like the Giessele and KAC URX rails that have become all the rage? Just a thought..

I love my C4 middy rail, but would gladly swap it for a slick rail version. Make it happen Monty!

Would love to see Centurion do something like the URX 3.1 with bolt on side and lower panels and several fixed recoil lugs at the forward most 3, 9, and 6 o'clock position.

Joe, any particular reason you decided to leave the gas block exposed?

We have an 18" White Oak Gun set up the same way. No need to pay for more rail than you need.
that is a centurion built SPR upper, the rail only covers that much, doesn't bother me at all.

Them jumping on the keymod bandwagon would an excellent product evolution imo.

I really like the simplicity and design of the Centurion rails. Here is my midlength cut out rail.

Does anyone know if there are still plans to do these in FDE or with the lower profile bottom rail?

lol...
Yeah... A buddy brought over a Noveske NSR last night...
I'm guessing NSR means "NOT a SERIOUS RAIL"... :sarcastic:
Wouldn't want that on any of my guns. We were affraid we'd break it.

Stupid question time but will Centurion Rails work with Troy/VTAC rail barrel nuts?
I"m no expert, but Centurion Rails work with the std barrel nut.

That part I knew I just want to know if there is that much of a difference between the two that precludes you from using the Troy barrel nut.

No, it will not work.
