Hi Guys, anyone know of an online source for the Factory Glock 3.5lb
connector and the N.Y. #1 trigger spring. I've found them separately,
but would like to order both from one source if possible. Surely someone
must sell both parts.
Also any advantages/disadvantages to buying a non factory connector
(eg, Ghost, Lone Wolf, Scherer, etc) instead of the factory part.

Thanks

I got mine from Glockmeister. Did you look there?

I haven't checked lately but they used to carry both.

I buy my #3.5 connectors from a guy named smittywee for $15. I think Lone Wolf charges $30. I'd buy the connector from smittywee and buy your springs and other parts from Lone Wolf or Brownells.

I have a Lone Wolf connector and it's nice. I don't like it at much as the OEM 3.5 but it's still a nice connector.

This guy 5532jwk sells them on GlockTalk for $17 shipped.

OMB Express has the NY1 cheap but shipping is expensive for the $1.40 part.

The aftermarket connectors ( Scherer, Lone Wolf) are as good as the factory part IMHO. The Scherer part available from Midway USA is identical to OEM in size but has a better finish compared to the OEM unit I have on hand.

I prefer Ghost 3.5lb connectors and factory olive NY1 trigger springs. With a little polishing and finding the right trigger bar you can get a very nice smooth 5-5.5lb trigger pull with a nice snappy reset.

I just replaced my stock connector with the scherer unit and the trigger spring with an olive NY1 spring and I've got to say I'm very pleased with the combination.

Both were purchased from brownells, although midway has both of the above mentioned parts for about 12 dollars plus shipping.

I do not think you will notice a difference between a LWD, Ghost, or any other 3.5lb connector on the market.

I'd recommend www.glockparts.com as they have cheap & fast shipping.
