I got a matech on ebay and it came with no mounting clamp or screw, but for only $36.00 i figured id try and find a way to make it work. i got an upgraded bracket and screw from BATTLE ARMS DEVELOPMENT. It is $20.00 with free shipping. It works really well, excellent fit and finish, the screw has a higher tensile strength so it wont break as ive heard some of the stock ones do. I mounted it according to the instructions, which also have suggested torque amount. when I was looking for a buis I read that the matech mount/screw was kinda weak and thats what turned some people away. but mine is solid. I played around with it, no wiggle or movement at all. so Im happy with it, its high quality and it still didnt cost nearly as much as some of the other buis do.

Improved replacement rear sight MOUNTING BRACKET and HIGH STRENGTH SCREW for the MATECH Back-Up Iron Sight (AR15/M16). Improvements include: (1) Thicker and Stronger Mounting Bracket - CNC'ed out of solid bar stock steel, not cast or metal injection molded. (2) Stronger Screw - approx. double the yield strength of the original screw (3) Countersink Hole - allows the screw head to be semi-recessed (4) Re-Aligned Screw Hole - minimizes canting of the screw (5) Smaller Allen Head Socket - minimize over torquing.
