Templar, I know you’re the man for Arsenal news.

Is Arsenal going to release the SLR-106U (.223 Krink) in 2007? I know they have allot on their plate with SLR-106 sales, and the 107 & 108 still due out.

This is what I'd love to build my AK-106 into (a AK-102 clone but in 5.56mm)

The AK-106 buttstock folds to the right? I like that idea.

Very cool. What are the 107 and 108 models?

The 106U should be available sometime in the next 1-3 months.....and you're looking around $1K.

The 107A1 will be a clone of the AK-103....basically imagine the 106FR in 7.62x39mm.

The 108 will be a straight up AKM with synthetic stocks.

I don't have a time line on the 107 or 108 though.

Will it be an SBR?

Including the side folder?

No, Arsenal won't do a factory SBR, the rifle will have a 16" barrel under a faux PBS style can. When you get your SBR paperwork done, you can then remove the fake can and hve the barrel cut down.

As far as the SLR-107A1 having a folding stock or not....I honestly don't know. The original pictures that I saw did not have one, but that was a while before Arsenal introduced the SLR-106FR.

xcibes posted this photo of the Arsenal 5.56mm Krink over on Akforum.net. Although I think this is the 5.45mm version based on the mag.

For the $1,000 price tag Templar stated it seems like a great deal. I will be standing in line to order one. Just do the SBR paper work to remove the fake suppressor and your good to go.

If only UltiMAK made a Krink-length rail...

I'll take one at least. Thanks for the heads up.
