Who to let go?

This was posted on our local newspaper 30 seconds blog today...


To any business owners that are cutting jobs due to the current
administrations socialist agenda, and are struggling with which
employees to let go, here is an excellent way of determining that.
This was sent to me yesterday.


Dear Employees:

As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact
that Barrack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government
fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases,
our prices would have to increase by about 10%. But since we can not
increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy,
we will have to lay off sixty of our employees instead. This has
really been bothering me since I believe we are family here and I
didn't know how to choose who would have to go.

So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lots and found
sixty 'Obama' bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided
these folks will be the ones to let go. I can't think of a more fair
way to approach this problem. They voted for change.......I gave it to
them.

The same can be said of the recent suicidal tax-hike vote by Oregon. Business owners should lay off the employees with the "Yes for Oregon" stickers. "Yes for Oregon" actually means "Yes for parasitic unions".

Neighboring states are already telling Oregon business to move shop.

What do we know about Obama?

Well, for one he is a former professor of Constitutional law. And he didn't need his daddy to get him into Harvard. Secondly, he is obviously smarter than all the Republicans in the House of Representatives. He showed us that last week. Third, he knows how to present a budget that actually includes the wars and all the expenses and provides ways to pay for them over time. And finally, he can string sentences together better than anybody I know and know how to pronounce 'nuclear', so I am loving the change.

Wifey stops by that site to check local news and buzz, she alerts me when something interesting pops up. We are in a left leaning area for sure but there are a few good apples. We kind of think the local paper has their lefties stirring the pot there to keep the flames going. Some of those guys just can't be that stupid unless there is something in it for them. There are some real gems there..

Oh, 3rd St Jim posts frequently first on every comment thread. It doesn't matter what the topic is, he goes political and starts throwing pies, bush did it, etc. Local drama.. :rolleyes:
