Very nice--I like the part where he points the thing at himself-as it appears.

That could potentially still fire-it has a cylinder intact.

Wonder what caused it?

One could argue this is actually a video showing why you don't use Magtech ammo.

ETA - d90 beat me to it.

Do people really shoot handguns off sandbags at targets 6 yards away? WTF?

Yup...and when I've seen them do that they still end up with groups that are hideous.

Not to get too far off the subject of Taurus QC, but Colt (and S&W) went through a rough patch themselves in the 1970's.

In 1972 Colt's got sold to the Union, and their QC went down dramatically.

Not nearly as bad as what you're looking at with a Taurus, but compared to what they'd been producing before the sale, a fair amount was sub par.

Imagine that happening in an actual defensive scenario? Very scary! I'm glad I have'nt owned a Taurus.;)

saw this video a long time ago.

the massive flames coming out from either side of the cylinder either point to an obstruction in the barrel just beyond the forcing cone, or the load itself was double or triple charged, and the massive pressure blew the barrel off.

although i'm not a taurus fan by any means, this looks like operator error.

Yup, thats someone else's hand that comes in frame- grabs his hand and points it back down range.

Yeah, we all know the type... the dudes with the giant ass wheelguns and bizarre shooting stances. They're just... weird. Because you know they simply made that shit up and think they'e some sort of super pistol marksman. They tend to do it with this spacey look on their face which indicates they're not quite there while they're doing it. Maybe they're off on the planet where everyone can't hit shit.

To quote the g/f, "hey... what the **** is that guy doing?"
