Does it seem like the muzzle is pointing straight at the other man's crotch? Or it's just me.

Is this photo a glimpse of life after DADT? :D

It's a little hard to tell, photos don't always give great perspective.

Probably just the angle the pic was taken out.

And in the mil weapons get pointed at other people all the time. Just walking around with a weapon slung down at an angle on your back? Eventually its going to get pointed at someones leg or if you bend over it is going to get pointed higher up. Just the nature of the beast when you are dealing with hundreds of people carrying guns around.

Lots of NCO's and officers like those shoulder holsters too. Their M9 then gets pointed chest height directly behind them. Nothing like standing in line at the chow hall or PX, and have a pistol pointed straight at your heart.

Military settings and gun safety don't always mesh, and its best to just train people to keep their fingers off the trigger, the gun on safe, and use your head. I can think of numerous training scenarios where a weapon gets pointed at someone else. Live fire ranges are treated quite a bit different...

And it isn't just the lack of muzzle discipline, but how about that trigger finger? Not exactly what you would call "clearly indexed" along the lower receiver.
