Model 24449, I would the Wilson Combat front ghost ring, or I could the add that sight to a more basic model right?

I purchased a 870P Model 24407 in Dec 09 for $559.00 + $25.00 shipping to my local FFL.

Expect to pay about $725 for it. The 870P isn't worth the extra cost. There is very little difference between the Police & the Express.

The 870 Tactical Express Model # 81198, Price $449 or less. It's a better deal it offers more features: Tapped for choke tubes & comes with a breacher choke, XS ghost ring sight and rail, black oxide finish, LE Speedfeed forend, tube extension kit. You can replace the MIM extractor for a machined extractor like comes on the 870P.

Sell the breacher choke and get some of your money back. It's worth about $40.
