How long has this site been down? I'm hoping it's not just my old PC, but it appears to have been down for a while, at least for the past few days.
Anyone got any info on when it will be back up and running?

To anyone who may be reading this, and who has tried out the new AKForums, am I the only one who is experiencing MAJOR slowing of the pages when they load?
Perhaps when they updated/upgraded to new software/forum style, it could have possibly effected how my ANCIENT PC handles the new operating system?
I am running an OLD, ANCIENT PC with Windows 2000 XP, and IE 7 w/service pack III.

Maybe my FireFox browser will work better, but I doubt it. Even it is an older version, but it IS newer than the IE 7 browser I have.
Despite these old programs/web browsers I am running, I usually never have any sort of problems cruising the net.
UNLESS of course, I come across a website which just doesn't support my browser any longer (there are becoming more and more of these websites, but to date, there are only a few which I personally cruise, which don't support my old browser(s) any longer).

SO, is anyone else experiencing the new AKForums as being ULTRA SLOW to load the webpages on the new site?
OR, am I the only one? That would sure be disappointing. LOL.
