Why do you care how M4C "feels?"

As long as you don't dye it black and call it tactical, I could care less about your crustache.

Yeah, I hate moustaches. But it is funny to piss people off. I'd say it is more of a cop 'stache. It turns down a little like a pseudo fu manchu. I'd post pics but I couldn't handle all the lovin' I'd get. Do I feel an m4c moustache picture thread comin' on? I'd like to see what stickman could do with a butt broom.:)

I feel a disturbance in the force.

There is a VERY fine line between a good cop stache, and a gay "leather crowd" stache.

Shhhhh... you know you love it. This has nothing to do with tos. It does, however, have everything to do with my killer 'stache. This is in general discussion, no? We can discuss the tactical advantage of having one, if you'd like.

Last deployment, we did the "whole platoon grows a mustache for 30 days" lark. 1stSgt heartily disapproved, but was hampered by subordinates that were better brig lawyers than he was and a CO that publicly stated he had bigger fish to fry than lip-hair.

I actually grew mine for about 3 weeks, then saw a picture of myself.

To say it was unflattering is massive understatement, and that thing got shaved off immediately. Screw what the rest of the platoon was doing. Never again.

More T. Roosevelt than "cop" or "Village people".

Sheesh, mine's been there since ~1975. I don't know if I remember how to shave an upper lip!

Mustaches... or as we called them, "dick-ticklers".

It can be a zoo. But there are still good people there with good info, and it is relaxed. I think it would take a sledge hammer to drive a needle up the average M4Cers rear. Not that that is a bad thing...

a lot of this site has a high TOS factor more and more it seems.

I remember some moron jumping all over my shit about starting a thread asking whether a water heater would be considered cover or concealment. the whole thing stemmed from letting my mind wander about setting up my workshop as a safe/panic room.

for whatever reason, the conversation got a little off topic and this self-appointed post police took me to task for the "quality" of my thread.

ah, those were the good old days...

this thread is no more retarded than most DG topics, gentlemen.

i recently grew a mustache myself... "porn star" is what everyone told me. one buddy went so far as to say GAY porn star, even.

i loved it... but my wife eventually refused her wifely duties until i parted with it.

::sigh:::cool:

You cannot end a sentence with: "Gay porn star...." and then begin a new sentence with: "... I love it."

just sayin' :D

That reminds me of someone I used to know, except his "beard" was even more patchy than that. Maybe that was because his hair was longer than his girlfriends?:rolleyes:

Anyway, if I go without shaving for a few weeks . . . well, let's just say I get tired of being called a mountain man. :o

First thing I did when I left the Army was to grow a goatee. I still wear a pretty short haircut, but the facial hair is here to stay.

Sometimes its good to be able to walk up to a senior military guy, scratching the facial fur, and just being able to say: "Ummm - no. We're not going to do that."

For guys in uniform, I've never objected to a nicely groomed mustache.

Regards,

Kevin
