COLT SP1 NEED INFO

I just got this older colt from my uncle He had it for about 25 yrs . (!) He said it,s only got about 50rnds thru it. (2) It looks like new,its also got a colt 4x20 scope with it ,with a BDC built in the scope (3) Can some one please tell me about this scope ,Ive never seen one before I didnt know colt made scopes . Also the rear site aperatures are the same size ,on one of them it has the letter (L),can you please tell Me about this gun I think it might be ,before my time . THANKS

Colt didn't actually make the scopes, they were made by a vendor. As for the rear sight, the "L" marked sight is for 300-500 yards, the unmarked is for 0 - 300 yards. This is from my Colt AR15 Sporter manual.

What is this scope worth its NIB

If its marked "Colt" I've seen some on ebay for $150 and up. I suggest you look there to get a general price range.
