Just felt like sharing some photos taken a few hours ago in Allen Texas. Im not positive but this has got to be a record. More snow today then ive seen in the past 5 years combined of living here.

Josh (the dog) is a year and a half old german shepard.

I heard a city 15 minutes north of me is getting 6+ inches of snow. I don't think my area of Texas has gotten 6 inches of snow in aggregate in the last 10 years. Snow just doesn't happen often.

Its pretty crazy over here.

My GSD loves the snow too, that and she gets a little stir crazy being in the house so much. We've been getting pummelled in Ohio.

Actually, colder winters are perfectly in line with what happens if the earth warms up a bit. It's one of the few things the global warming folks got right.

dirk, that is one gorgeous dog.

I made a friend that hit the window during the first storm.. I think I could of held that little guy as long as I wanted.. I sat him down after 10 minutes or so and flew off into the trees.

It snowed here tonight, south GA, but the rain before and after kinda ruined it. But some places around here got quite a few inches that stuck.

My mom is in N Ga and woke up to 2 inches. Said it was beautiful but had the whole region shut down.

You low lander types crack me up. I live at 6500 ft in the Rockies. We've gotten nailed with upwards of two feet FOUR times so far this winter. That's not counting the numerous little six inch and under storms..... :P
We've gotten to the point again this year of some roofs collapsing...I've been on my garage twice shoveling off snow up to my private parts....

That's a nice husky dirk...:)

You are all wrong. That "snow" is actually water molecules that have evaporated due to extreme global warming which "fried" the water, causing it to fall back down to earth. Because it's so hot, it doesn't actually sink into the earth, but instead simply layers on top of it.
