I see a lot of negative comments on the .40 G22 and understand the Glock was initially designed for 9mm and then adapted for .40 while M&P began life with .40.

With that in mind, are there any issues with the M&P .357 as with .40 vice 9mm Glock? Not asking for inputs on the caliber, just concerned with any potential problems with the platform. Thanks.

Wouldn't expect there to be any, but never hurts to ask.

I have one, I've only put a few hundred rounds through it but no malfunctions or any other issues that I've run into.

The M&P357 is fairly soft shooting (as far as 357s go) and will serve you well. Enjoy.

We have put several 100,000 rounds down range with them so far without any issues.
