Have any of you wardogs had your 1x9 twist 16" M4 profile cut down to 10.5" & if so, any problems associated with this mod? I'm wanting to have this done to compliment my 11.5". Ya, I know I can just buy a 10.5" upper, but having it cut down is much more cost effective for me if this can be done by an experienced professional. YutYut:cool:

I had my LMT 14.5" 1x7 cut down to 10.3" and had gas port work, run 100% with a suppressor and without. I have about 500 rounds through it with the suppressor and 1200 rounds without it. Randall at www.ar15barrels.com did it for a little more than $100.00, I pulled my own FSB and bbl nut off and sent him just the barrel.
