FYI on DD FVG

Just a FYI.

The Daniel Defense VFG does not fit the YHM Light Weight Free Float 4 Rail Forearms series. Never had a problem with any other VFG and this rail ( larue, KZ, grip pod ).

I think you'll find that any slide-on style grip will have trouble due to the out-of-spec YHM rail. This is a pretty well-established and long-running issue.

I got stuck with a Tango Down vertical grip that some bastard sold me after he sanded it out to work on the YHM rail and failed to mention in his ad. :mad:

Clamp-on solutions like the Larue are more forgiving of rails that seem to ignore the spec for whatever reason, or at best prefer to live on the large end of the tolerance.
