So, heres the deal. I want a midlength upper, planning on ordering from Grant in the next day or so. I wanted a Troy 12" rail, and was planning on buying them through work with my disocunt, but they dont carry the 12" that I want. I have gone back and forth on this a 1000 times and cant decide whether to get the 10" at discount and have it stick out or buy the 12" at full retail...

How about the 11" TRX Extreme?

I think it would be better to get what you want at full bore than compromise on price and be stuck with what you don't want. jm2cw. How good is your discount?

the 11" TRX isnt an option either... :(

im looking at around $160 for the 10" MRF-MX or the full price of $229 for the MRF-R.

I say get the one you want. In the grand scheme wouldn't you rather have the one you truly want for an extra $70 and never have regret over the compromise?

I figure that $70 is almost 300 rounds down range. Sacrifice a little ammo and get the gear you most want.

Good luck
