Going to a three day LE carbine course this spring. I'm taking my dept. 6920 as my primary and am taking my LMT MRP CQB 16" middy as a backup gun. For those of you who have run training courses, how have your MRPs held up? Any problems or complaints at all?

I attended a USTC 2 day carbine class with my 12" MRP Piston and it ran fine, aside from not liking underpowered Hornady Training (many failures to lock back after last round).

You should be good to go.

I attended a Pat Rogers course with my Rifle length MRP, 16" chromelined barrel. 1400 rounds later not a hiccup - or in the 1000 rounds I shot before the class. Oh - and I never cleaned it in those 2400 rounds - just used Slip 2000 EWL in the morning and I was good to go.

Spooky

ETA: I ran green/yellow box S&B plus a few hundred of American Eagle 55 gr.

Have a 10.5 MRP and used it in a AR course that involved about 1200 rounds. No issues, cleaned before and after with CLP. Have fun....

Thanks for the fast info and advice guys! Sounds like I should be GTG if my 6920 goes down for any reason. Getting excited....:D

Why not run the LMT as your first choice?

put the rounds/wear on the dept. issued weapon, not yours!!!!

I took a 6920 and rifle length LMT MRP to a VTAC 1.5 course. Shot the 6920 for 1 and 1/2 days and the MRP for the rest. No problems at all with the MRP.

I have a LMT MRP CQB with a 14.5 inch that I use as a duty rifle. I used it at a Pat Rogers EAG course about 3 years ago without a single problem. I am planning on going to another one of his courses with the same rifle without worry! They are good to go!
