I talked to someone at Smith & Wesson last week and they did not have a model number assigned yet, but told me they would be out around May. Hope this helps.

What is the MOE version supposed to be?

MOE version has a magpul stock and grip, quick disconnects for a sling, and flip up front and back sites along with threaded barrel and flash hider.

I was told by S&W that is would be released in May of this year. I am going to post an update as soon as I get more information.

Looks as if it has both MBUS front and rear folding sights. ;)

here is hoping. i really want to see the retail on these before i buy. on a training only gun ill prolly just get the 390 original version from grant. if they want way to much for the moe version. id prolly run sans buis anyway

dont know if it will be worth the price difference.

For some of us, we want a M&P22 to replicate our main AR-15 for training purposes. Well the MOE version is exactly what I need. Just a similar optic, flashlight and AFG or VFG.
