Are these available anywhere? I have seen the .40 in stores but wasn't sure what the wait was going to be like for the 9mm. Any info would be great (search doesn't like HK P30). Thanks.

The 9mm has been out for 2 years...the 40 is the one thats hard to find..its just came out

The P30S in 9mm has not been out for 2 years. I havent seen one or heard of anyone getting one so I dont think the 9mm are in the USA yet.

To expound on what crowkiller said, the P30S has a manual safety.

The P30S (Safety) in .40 was released in January/2010 and currently only available in .40. The standard P30/P30L (sans safety) is only available in 9mm. Rumor has it, eventually all P30 pistols will come in the form of the P30S in either V3 or V2 (LEM) variants.
IIRC, the P30S in 9mm will be out Summer of 2010? I remember scouring HKpro and watching the 2010 shotshow vids and hearing that.

Not sure how but I was told by HK that these will not be out until May. There is some question in that thread as to if it is the .40 version with a .9mm slide. Trust me, I have done research on this and I waited patiently for my answer from HK.
I have seen two .40's in local shops. No 9mm's.
The 9mm aren't in the country yet. They're currently slated for late spring or early summer arrival.

Read carefully i.e. P30S not P30, and then post your thoughts once you have a good grasp of the question.

He has both the P30 (9mm) and the P30S (.40 S&W) and he's probably taken the slide from the P30 and put it on the frame of the P30S (.40S&W) for the photograph.

that's what I was thinking too.
I asked Ken Hackathorn about the availability of P30S in 9mm at a class this weekend because he mentioned it and he said "summer" was the word that he received.
I suspect that in H&K time "summer" probably means October or November.
Regardless, I'm looking forward to the P30S in 9mm when it's available!

Any updates on the P30S 9mm? I still can't find the 9mm for sale anywhere. I've found a few listings for them, but they turned out to not be the S model.
