What am I doing wrong?

I am still getting an e-mail when someone posts to any thread I am on.
I went into User CP and changed some setting but it is still happening.

Would someone please tell me what I am doing improperly? I do not want the e-mail with every post.

Settings & Options -> Edit Options -> Default Thread Subscription Mode

Changing that setting should prevent automatic subscriptions to threads in which you post going forward. For the ones in which you've already posted, and are now subscribed, you'll need to edit your existing subscriptions in the User CP if you don't want to receive notifications for those specific threads anymore.
