Anyone offer up any info on these guns? Fit, function, price, etc. Are they worth the money or stay away? Can't find much info on them. Thanks

Oly doesnt make a .308 rifle. They do make a 7.62x39 though.

Apparently they made a few at some point in time. http://www.urban-armory.com/ar15.htm
ETA: O.K. maybe the guy does'nt know what he is actually trying to sell, I'll try to get a good pic of this rifle. He showed me a cell phone pic and it kind of looks like a FAL type rifle. He also says he has a couple 30 rnd mags for it.

You should be trying to avoid Olympic products anyway.

Why? Any reasons to go with that? They are fine rifles. I have a Oly Plinker Plus and an M4 built on one of their lowers. The plinker is probably the most reliable weapon I have ever used at this point even over my issue Colt M4A1, which was no big deal It just left the factory with out of spec headspace and Dont get me wrong I like the Colts. But saying something is just bad and should be avoided just because of what you read on the internet that was probably posted by someone who "heard it from their brothers, uncles, friends, cousin" is not right.

I'll send you a PM explaining my qualifications to make that statement.

One of the best posts on this forum in a long time...

Turns out they did make a .308, just not what I was thinking of. But it does exist for all you nay sayers. This is what the guy is selling, I'm not a FAL fan though.

Given the quality of their short lived attempt to make FAL type rifles I wouldn't be beating a path to their products. http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/notes/faloly/pagefaloly.htm[

Olympic has a spotty reputation at best.

Whos a naysayer? You asked about an AR pattern 308 in the picture, which they dont make.

The picture is of an Armalite AR10, in case anyone was wondering.
