Olympic hockey is on and there are two incredible games to watch. USA vs Canada and Czech vs Russia. Get the beer and snacks and get to the TV ASAP...
Should be some great hockey today...the games up until now have been pretty good.

Looks like the USA v Canada game coverage starts at 1800 CST on MSNBC, at least in my region. Hopefully Olberdouche isn't anywhere to be found :)
its been some very good hockey, but I think it has been better watching Mike Milbury hate on his country, and the tension between Milbury and Jeremy Roenick.
the Czech -Russia game is good. I also plan to watch the replay of the Sweden Finland game tonight
great game, now we get miracle on ice special, FOLLOWED BY USA/CANADA
Even though the Russians won they didn't look that good. The Czechs really played well and I think the coach should have mixed the lines up a bit to be more effective...
BTW - I hate NBC. I'm happy to have watched the Czechs/Russians on NBC but I hate having to watch the US/Canada game on standard-def. This is probably the biggest game for North American audiences and won't happen again unless they both make it to the medal round...

WOW US-CAN is turning out to be a great game. I dont like Niedemyer shot after the whistle WTF was up with the body slam........

great game, usa played their asses off...got scary there at the end when they couldnt clear the zone
Seemed like last seasons game 7 for the Cup! Canada is one more step to suicide watch...
Great game... The USA had a few good moments and Miller was solid in net - that was all they needed...

It seems like Canada expects to thrown names on the ice and win, while the USA plays a tough team game and grits it out. It was also nice to see us with speed at the end. I didnt think canadia had the speed we did, or atleast it didnt look like it.

kinda crazy tho considering Canada is stacked with all stars / soon to be all stars IMO.

Fantastic game. The last few minutes seemed like an eternity. Crosby is so good, at times looked like he had a better pair of skates than everyone. Miller is a beast and withstood the Canadian barrage. We were extremely opportunistic, cashing in on our few chances.
Phenomenal game, as others have said. Very physical, lots of shooting on both sides - but the Americans shot less and scored more. I was on the edge of my seat those last few minutes and was screaming at team USA to stop playing like they were trying to kill a power play. Glad they made it through.
Miller did an amazing job in the net, especially at the end when it was confusing and he was getting shot on left and right.
Boooooooooo USA ;) , very good game, Miller stood on his head and was the differance, he is having a BIG year.

It's been a pretty decent tournament so far - glad our Metro Detroit native Rafalski is doing well, as are his fellow Wings on their respective teams.

no kidding! hopefully he keeps the hot stick when the season kicks back up. Im looking forward to Canada beating Germany tomorrow then playing russia......That should be a game for the ages. Two great teams, and of course the good 'ole Crosby vs Ovechkin rivalry coming back up.

meh... I was hoping for a canadian loss... Ryan Miller went a long way to show the world that the USA can play hockey. It was also nice to not hear as many boos for the USA or counter-cheering for the USA opponents. I talked with a few americans that are up there and they said they felt like they were walking into a fight wherever they went.

People give me a hard time when I say I can watch ANY hockey game from Mites all the way to the NHL including Women's Olympic hockey but those girls give it everything they have and play a great game of hockey.
We're being treated to a great game now!

What a match. Great performance. They all left everything out on the ice. Congrats Canada. I also agree with the anti-Crosby sentiment. The dudes a freak. :p Now I'll go back to not caring about hockey for another 4 years.
