Most Vltor low profile gas blocks I've seen are used with free float handguards; is it possible to use them with regular plastic handguards? My concern is the distance between the rear of the gas block and the torque shoulder; is there room enough for the handguard cap? Most pics I've seen show the gas block snugged up agains the torque shoulder, so I was wondering if a handguard cap would prevent the gas vent from lining up.
