Noveske owners question

I just got my new Recon rifle in last night. My question is, did you get a manual of any sort with the gun? I got a pig decal, swivels and a magazine, but no paperwork of any kind. I have a call in to Noveske, but no word yet.

Nope, no manual. My Recce came with swivels, mag and flaming pig sticker.

Out of 9 rifles I have got from them none of them have come with a manual. I did get a little log book with my last VIS N4 upper but have never gotten one with a complete rifle before.

I actually had the same question when I got my first Noveske rifle. The "manual" is the maintenance log they send with the gun. I called and asked Sheri @ Noveske about this and she said they used to ship out M16 manuals with their rifles, but it's sporadic as they only include them when they're if and when they're in stock. If it bothers you too much, you can call them up and they'll ship you one for $5. It's the standard US military M16 manual.

They also ship PMags with their rifles (instead of the Noveske-marked GI mags they show pictured).

I received a log book with my upper.

Mine came with Manual & Log Book. I like the log book as it forces me to actually keep a round count, but the manual sucks... its designed for guys with 18 year old eyes:p I'd have to glue it to my FSB and look thru 6x to read the small print in it:rolleyes: I think you can actually download the manual and print it yourself on 8 1/2 x 11 paper;)

i think they figure if you know who Noveske is, and are spending the money to buy one of their rifles, you probably already know how to use em.

Thanks for the topic, was curious about this myself. I just received an email from UPS saying that my Noveske has shipped! But mine is coming from Rainier Arms, don't know if that makes a difference.

My Upper came with a Pig Sticker and a Hat...no manual or Log Book. However, I did get one of each from them for my Recon (after I asked for it) just before I ordered the N4LR Upper.

FWIW; I love the Hat...Noveke logo in front and "stops Jihad on contact" on the rear! :D

i purchased a low pro around christmas didnt get any paperwork called noveske and they shipped a manual and log book free of charge

2nd was N4 carbine bought used - got the box, but no manual to be found.

I held this rifle. Not one like it but this exact one. It's very nice. I was considering buying it but picked up my LMT MRP instead. Great store w/ good pricing. 5280 Armory in Arvada, CO.
Now someone buy it so he'll get more Noveskes in.
