Picked one up last Sat. Put 100rds through it. No problems.
Put a FLGR in it. Thinking about different sites for it already.
Anyone got any opinions on the G34's?

I love mine. The size and balance are excellent in my hand. Something about them just feels "right" to me.

Que?

Full Length Guide Rod? Are you talking about a stainless guide rod instead?

Any way, I like the G34 and I've been debating about picking one up this week. It's either going to be a G34 or a G26...I just can't decide.

I like the G34/35 size guns. I have a 35 myself and couldn't be happier with it.

It comes with factory Glock adjustable sights which are utter garbage. Try Heinie Straight 8 night sights, or if you prefer a 3 dot setup try Trijicons.

Actually it's the wolff non captive guide rod with the black finish, I just call it a FLGR as a generic term...

Probably will go for the Straight 8's on it since I want those on my next 1911 too.

I have the Glock 35 (hence my login name) and I love it. I have owned it since 1999 or so.

The choice of sights would depend on your primary purpose for this firearm. I am still running the stock adjustables on mine for the time being. I do plan on upgrading them in the near future.

I am looking at Warren Tacttical Carry Sights (http://www.gunracing.com/Qstore/Qstore.cgi?CMD=011&PROD=1142991028)

I owned a G34 for several years - I finally sold it a couple of months ago. I didn't mind the trigger when I first got it. But, after shooting my USPc and P99 so much, I started to hate that Glock trigger. I just decided I didn't like it anymore and used the money to buy something else.

I will admit that it is the best Glock out there, and was a great gun. We all just have our preferences.

When I shot a G34 (IDPA and USPSA) I used a Warren Tactical rear sight with a Dawson .105" wide fiber optic front sight. The front is meant for Heinie rear sights which are the same height as the Warren.

The gun in the middle is my old G34 that had the Warren rear, Dawson front.

My G35 with same sights that I built up for USPSA Limited and then sold it in favor of a STI custom built Limited gun.

what's the combo on the left and where'd you order from? That rear looks like exactly what I want, and the white outline on the front looks perfect as well.

That's my Glock 31, Warren rear (plain black) with Warren night sight front. The Glock 17 on the right is set up the same but the lighting made it appear like it doesn't have a white outline but it does.
