Trijicon has come out with a new line of scope mounts for the AR platform. They are Manufacturered by BOBRO.

Does the TR24 require the extended eye relief mount like the TR21s did or will a regular eye relief mount work?

Yes, you really should use the extended one.

Having never held a Bobro ANYTHING up here in Canada - what's the main difference between them and say an ADM mount?

I have an ADM 30mm Recon mount for my TR24G, and I can't imagine anything topping it for performance/ease of use.

Is the Bobro lighter? Stronger? Easier to use? Better return to zero? I'm genuinely curious... it LOOKS pretty nice, but what are the reasons Trijicon chose them?

The main difference is there's no adjustment needed to tighten it up to your particular rail. The cam mechanism automatically adjusts, unlike the ADM, where you need to turn the adjustment nut manually and find the right amount of tension.

I have two TR24s in Larue mounts. One is in the extended mount, the other isn't.
I prefer the standard LT104 . YMMV
