I have a Colt 9mm carbine and I am thinking of going SBR with it. I am trying to decide between replacing the barrel or getting a seperate upper. If I do go with a seperate upper if I should go flat top or not. I was wondering what others have decided and why. This is a for fun gun but I do have it at home close to bed so dual use is not an unreasonable need. This rifle is LTA prefix serial and ex PD so it is a shooter not really a collector. I appreciate the input.
