...Hurts my brain...

So, am I correct? Perhaps the slide dovetails are milled at different heights.

But the bottom line is if I want to replace factory sights with Warren's...I'm ordering several sets of the same sight for each caliber/size pistol?

All the Trijicon sights are the same.

Warren Tactical makes sights that fit the majority of the M&Ps and a special set with a taller front sight that's for 5" M&Ps (Pro and 9L).

A related question: Does the M&P require any special tool like a sight pusher to replace the sights? Or is it a pretty easy swap after the locking screw is removed?

Yes and no. The rear sight is easy to push out. The front, not so much.

Depends on how old/new your pistol is. My newer M&P's were a cinch when it came to removing the rear sights.

My older M&P's were impossible lol.
