Love my ACOG scopes in particular the quick ranging feature and wanted to see what the options for such in a more traditional rifle scope that people had tried. I'd like to keep it to well known tactical names like Leupold, Valdada, NF etc.

Thanks in advance.

Check out the Vortex Viper PST from Vortex Optics, it's a new line of scopes and won't be available till around May. So far the specs and reviews from Shot Show have been very good. Especially the reticle on their 1-4X24. Not very much magnification, but the reticle is pretty cool for tactical applications.

Try the Nightforce with the Velocity reticle. Works very similar to an ACOG while still keeping the functionality of a traditional variable-power scope.

Don't know if these will qualify for you but these have nice ranging reticles:

Horus Vision (or any mfg using their H35 reticle)
RapidReticle/Pride Fowler RR800-1
Zeiss' Rapip-Z reticles (designed by Pride Fowler)
