We are in Vegas this for a convention and I was aware there was a place that would let you shoot full autos. The wife and I went down to The Gun Store and shot a few rounds. We both ran the M16 and M249 SAW (the one in the linked video below). She also tried an AK47 and I tried out a Desert Eagle in .44 mag. The best part was how much fun my wife had. She liked the SAW the best. I think I did to. The Desert Eagle loads were pretty weak so it didn't kick too bad. Wish we could have ran a couple hundred more rounds but it was still fun. The place was packed and it can get real expensive real quick if you want it to.

Same store, same gun, not me.

FA is fun when the gov is paying for the weapons and ammo. Not so much when you have to buy everything, and find a place to shoot at.

Careful, those FAs are addictive...and expensive to feed!

Only FA that I have shot was a MAC 10 or 11. It was 9mm.

Based on that, I think FA is a bit overrated.

Only time I could see needing FA is on a MG/suppression weapon.
