My dad ordered a S&W 67, it was a police trade in and came as a DAO. He would like to have it converted back to a traditional DA, we have gotten an estimate on labor but not for parts costs. It is pre key lock and pre MIM. Any idea how to find these parts or prices on these parts?

I have purchased a good number of older Smith and Wesson parts from Midway USA's website.

Or there is always Numrich;

Believe it or not, Smith & Wesson supports almost all its post WW2 production revolvers through the myriad of engineering changes over the years.

I will bet heavily that they have the correct hammer with both single and double action sears available.

Yep one of my coworkers has a S&W 19 currently at their custom shot getting some work right now. Great prices too.

I agree with the recommendation to send it back to S&W. My brother is a S&W nut and has had the best results with the factory when it comes to working on the older revolvers.

Do understand that it is very likely the new hammer will need to be fitted to the trigger and rebound slide.
