View Full Version : Which scope rings?

What rings do you use to mount scopes? A short 3-9-40 will fit with Weaver extra high rings but my longer 40mm scopes 6.5-20 and 4200 4-16 wont, even with those. I cant find anything higher at my local stores. Its for a Colt 6920. I just mainly want something to shoot longer distances target practicing. Its not gonna stay on all the time.

Get a LaRue Tactical SPR mount. It is the best scope mount on the market today (for the AR).

Although I agree that the LaRue SPR is the best choice, second would be the PRi Flat Top Riser for a bit less money.
