tipton 22 cal brush wont fit?

i have a DD upper and went to clean it today with new cleaning supplies.

i bought the tipton 22cal bore brush 3piece from midway

it would not fit down the bore and was very difficult to remove.

hope i didn't mess up anything. what am i doing wrong?

I had the same issue with the tipon carbon!

.22LR not fit a .223/.556?

Struck me as wierd, use in on my DSA FAL/hunting rifles now, thought I had a mis-marked dud!

You didn't hurt anything. Why use that brush anyway? I try to pull a bore snake through once a year, maybe. Cleaning really is over rated on M-4 clones.
