Rifle Case or Bag for LR rifle ????

I put a bipod on my 5R Remington the other day and it no long would fit in the case I had been using.

Between the turrets on the NF and the bi-pod, I'm having trouble finding a case that will work. I got an inexpensive Bob Allen "Varmint" case, but it's a pretty tight fit.

Would the Cabela's Varmint case or the Boyt Varmint case offer more room???

Is there a drag bag that would be a better choice for this set up???

I'm in the market for one long enough for my R700 .338 Lapua and want a hard side case w/foam inserts... like a Pelican for instance. I have soft side cases for AR's, AK's, shotguns and all that fun stuff but, for me anyway I think a hard side makes more sense in a precision rifle case.

Not sure if that's the opinion you were looking for but.. there it is either way. :p
