Just got a call from my parents about this. One of the news reports said the injuries weren't life-threatening, so I hope the deputies come out ok. This is in the neighborhood I lived in for most of my life, and where my parents currently live. We're fairly close to a lady that actually lives in the neighborhood and works for the Liberty County SD.
I was just talking my dad into a new 6920 or N4 not two days ago because of some of the crap that's moved into the area lately. It just isn't the same bunch of people that we knew 5 years ago. There certainly wasn't anyone around willing to shoot a cop. :mad:
ETA: Looks like the suspect got his medicine one way or another...
