I can't figure out how to upload a picture.. not computer friendly.. never mind.

I use Imageshack then cut and paste it here.

You can't upload direct to this site. You need to use Imageshack or Flickr or others. Then you right click and copy the link of the image, and hit the green and orange button above where you type (might be below in edit mode) to post the pic.

As mentioned above, host the picture at a hosting location. I prefer photobucket, but there are endless choices.

Copy the direct link for the hosted pic. It will look something like this - http://i712.photobucket.com/albums/ww123/vhinch/LesBaerTRS004.jpg

Use either the insert image icon, or just type out the image tags, which is what I usually do.

It should look like this when you type it-

Which will show this result-

For some reason none of the websites will accept my pictures that I am trying to update. I'll try another day when I have more patience... thanks for all your help.

What is the extension of the pictures you trying to upload?

The extension is the 3 letter file type indicated after the period, such as picture1.jpg or picture1.gif or whatever type your using.

The other question I would ask you (and I am!) is if your at work and behind a firewall or not? When I am at work I can not upload to PhotoBucket because of our security so I use my Verizon Imagio to take alot of pictures and then I email them to my photobucket acount right from the phone. That gets past the security issue I deal with.

These sites typically will accept just about any standard file type, so I suspect that like me, you are behind some sort of firewall or security system and this is stopping you from transmitting data out through improper channels.
