Thanks brother

its been pretty durable so far looks like a trip the rogers range in may is possible as well as a few others once Ben gets the frame work done its going to be about perfect for me a bit over 26k through that gun in classes and matches and daily carry

Spiffy -- Do you notice a difference in speed on target?

Steve

speed to threat has not been an issue it takes reps that's all, follow up shots were the initial issue at full speed learning to trust the dot so to speak no issue so far

shooting plates and poppers at distance has been made more fun

It seems that the biggest advantage that the system has it that it allows long shots to be made more easily than with irons? Someone mentioned hitting silhoutte targets out to 200(?) with their dot? I wonder if that is just a function of trying to focus on the front sight pulls the depth of focus in close making far targets hard to make out, while the dot allows accurate fire by allowing the plane of focus to be on the target?

Doc of current the 4moa in past i have run the larger dots 8 moa, i don't really find a difference in speed at most so called defensive ranges say 0-25 yards

but at distance say 50 -150 yards the 4 moa does serve me well

I did a so called quick co witness with my CTC grips at 10 yards it worked well and was hitting right off the get go...

It has been interesting during handgun RDS testing--some folks really like the large dots, others prefer smaller. One of the things I like about the ITI mini-RDS is the ability to manually adjust the dot intensity--when the 3.5 MOA dot is turned up to full brightness, it looks twice as large, yet can still be toned down to appear small for long range shots.

You can manually click through the different dot intensity settings.

That's nice, I don't suppose you have any pics. of the milling required to mount it like that?

To date, I have not seen a broken RMR (either model). I have seen everything else on the market go down though (to include personal Jpoint's, Doc's and PF).

I really believe that this is the future of defensive handguns, and will become as common as RDS systems on carbines.

I think eventually this will be the answer but it has to have some sort of built in BUIS before I will carry it.

Question about milling the slides: About how long did it take and do you have a ball park cost for doing so?
