Ghost Inc "Edge" connector (jury's still out on this one...probably going back to OEM. Need to dry fire more)

Forget to follow up with this.

I went back to stock not even a week after dropping in the Edge. I had two failures to reset during live fire in the first 250 rounds, so I went back to stock. After yesterday's class, I broke the 2,000 round mark and it's running well.

Yep. It's a .105 Fiber Optic (Red) Front Sight, and a plain serrated black .135 rear from Dawson Precision. Absolutely LOVE this combo!

I like the black serrated rear and red fiber front combo aswell. Awesome sight picture, but more importantly it gives a glock a sweet Darth Vader look.

Just picked up a timberwolf frame that I've been running my old 17 slide on. So far, I love it. I was able to run 250 rounds through it earlier today and was very impressed with it. My frame did not have any problems with mags dropping free, but the mag release was a little long for my liking so I sanded it a down a little to make it more comfortable (it was stabbing me in the hand when I built a two handed grip). I'll keep running it hard for the next few months to see how I like it, but so far I am very impressed.

If I do the texture in mild or medium, yes. The aggressive is too much for carry next to bare skin though.

There are more than a few custom cerakote guys doing similar work that I know of. Not sure what info you are looking for...I don't do the work myself, so cannot comment on how its done. This was a new in box 21SF that it was done to.

They really are nice pistols. If you can get a used one down the road, I highly recommend it. The vickers sights are a big improvement compared to standard glock sights or three dot sights.

It's funny how big these large framed (.45 and 10mm) Glocks feel after doing nothing but 9's and .40's for a while.

The mount is one that I designed with the help of a gunsmith buddy, and is manufactured by my gunsmith using 3D prining technology. It is made from Grade 5 Titanium.

No ejection issues, as the ejection port clears the mount.

We are going to be selling them. We also make a compensator and a thumb rest that mounts to the optic mount, all 3D printed as well.

Yeah, the gunsmith did a really good job of keeping the optic low. I was actually surprised myself when he showed me the prototype.

How do you 3d print titanium?

I'm not an engineer, so I cannot give you a full run down of how it's done, but it is basically titanitum that is layered, and they use some form of heat treatment to make it structurally sound. I think....

They started 3D printing a suppressor, and it is totally awesome. Though sound reduction might not be as good as conventional designs, it is ridiculously lightweight and robust. The .223/5.56 suppressor weighs 205 grams.
They are now 5k+ rounds through a .30 cal model, and have not been able to measure any wear. It is also less prone to the effects of mirage.

Decided I needed a small pistol for "grab it and go" since I have no problem carrying my M9 but I will admit you need to make adjustments when you go to pack it.

So I went to the gunshop and looked at their selection they had a few but the Glock 42 stood out and it came home with me.

This is the fourth one I've had over the years my first being a 21,then a first gen 17 and the last was a 33 in .357 Sig-I find the smallest Glocks the best of the brand with the 33 being my favorite before the I had this 42,I almost got a 26 but the .380 is fine and plenty small.

No I did not, have had bad experiences with that in the past...had one that cracked where the hump was removed (work done by someone different). But even without the hump removal, it feels slimmer and the hump seems less prominent.

They don't make them for a gen 4 yet. But the modifications to make it fit are simple.

If you look inside where a grip plug would go on a gen4 glock there are a couple of grooves that stick out. Simply take a dremmel and shave down those grooves to allow the plug included with the magwell to slide in.

Got a FDE Gen 4 Glock 34 yesterday plus my tan X300U showed up. It was a good day. Needs some Cerakote on the slide now...

That looks like it is a plate mounted in the stock rear dovetail. Similar to the larue offering.

I did it myself. Didnt have the money to mill so bought the Strike Industries Glock Universal Mount and replaced the rear sight. I would rather mill because this sits a bit high.

My son got me a LWD ported barrel for my Glock 17, the fit is excellent and accuracy is great. The G17 has a Charley Vanek trigger assembly in it and while reliable with Federal primers, Wolf primers do not work well.
Ten shots at 10 yards, off hand.

New Gen 4 G17. Wilson Combat/LAV sights coming in soon. Pictured with Insight LAM 1000 (was on loan from a buddy) - Bulky as hell, but when paired with a PVS-14 with the IR light/laser, this thing is sweet.
