Lets see how good I think I am, it looks like Robars work, slide cuts, 10-8 or RB-1 sights, one in the same, and refinished in Roguard. Prolly 10-8 since your running his mag base plates also. Beavertail added, magzine scallop cut, finger humps removed, undercut trigger, and his applied texturing. Texturing also on the frame flats, or that is what I refer to them as, area in front of take down point. Oh and Zev Trigger system, How close am I?....:)

I'm living in Brazil. Caliber .380 is the best what a civilian can have here. :( I'm a LEO, so this is my backup gun. I carry a .40SW (Taurus PT940) from my PD. I would like get a G19, however it is about impossible for the brazilian firearms laws.

Yes, they're reliable. There are those that don't like them because they're "plastic", but that doesn't seem to stop a majority of law enforcement agencies from using them for years now. Not to mention the countless numbers they've sold to civilians.

Yeah it just has quadra drive I or whatever. Coming from a Rubicon with lockers on 35s, I didn't want to try and make this something it's not. I'm good with AWD only, I'd rather put the $ towards smaller wheels and good all terrains.

Very nice. How does that group compare to your groups with the factory barrel?

The factory barrel is ever so slightly more accurate but I had only shot some of the $10.97 Walmart ammo through the LWD barrel while I had really excellent results with 125gr Zero jacketed truncated cone bullets in 9mm Luger and 357 SIG..

As I get older…..everything seems slippery to me.

I like the longer area of rear serrations and the addition of longer area of front slide serrations. And they match! NICE!

Doug over at ATEi did the slide work. Check them out (ateiguns.com). They are the best out there. Nothing with them is for looks, only function. The rear serrations (and front) are also cut deeper and wider to give a very positive feel. Slide manipulation is unbelievably easy with Doug's work. Turn around time was also surprisingly quick (maybe 3 weeks).

Yea it's held tight so far. It's had about 300 rds thru it with the sight on it. And yes you get enough adjustment out of the sight and it hold zero very well.

Don't remember if I posted 'em up or not here yet. Both guns have stock internals.
G19 has steel rear stock sight and a front night sight as does the G17. I personally find the stock style sights to be pretty quick and precise for me. LV base plates.
All the rest of my gun money goes into ammo to learn how to shoot to the best of my equipments ability. I might do some other work later on to them.
I keep a log for my G19 and in 10 months I have logged 5611 rounds through it which isn't a lot to some but to my bank account and my wife apparently it's excessive.

Really starting to come around to the Gen 4 Glocks. Shot a 97-3x @ 25 yards with 124gr Blazer. Save the sights and stippling, it's all factory for now.

Yep, this customer always cuts them back so he doesn't lock the slide back unintentionally.

I've never had that issue with Glocks but for some people it's a major problem, that's just his solution to it.

Nevermind, I just found them on Ameriglo's site. Looks like it's just a thicker front (.125 vs. .115), but the same height as the stock Defoor's.

I'll be getting some of these for my Glocks soon!

Yeah new defoors. I have the all blacks too and these a hair thicker but still very accurate as the originals. Im still testing them.

Very cool! I didn't even know that these were out. I love and have been using the standard all black Defoor's. I may purchase the night sight model for my 43.

Conceals full sized guns remarkably well. The combination of the wedge and claw/pusher helps push the belt/waist line out uniformly and help conceals the gun a little better. I like how modular the holster is.

The one downside I'm finding is that the wedge on the bottom digs into me a little too much and is uncomfortable when sitting. I'm experimenting with different configurations, but I've removed the wedge for now (at the cost of slightly more printing).

[4DAIVI PAI2K5]

Conceals full sized guns remarkably well. The combination of the wedge and claw/pusher helps push the belt/waist line out uniformly and help conceals the gun a little better. I like how modular the holster is.

The one downside I'm finding is that the wedge on the bottom digs into me a little too much and is uncomfortable when sitting. I'm experimenting with different configurations, but I've removed the wedge for now (at the cost of slightly more printing).

Yep, I took off one loop since day 2 and run it one over the trigger guard. I'm making my own impromptu wedge that is a little softer to see if it helps with comfort.

Here's my EDC - Glock 17 Gen 4 FDE frame (stippled, undercut trigger and support hand reference, and beaver tail added by Danger Close Armaments in Lakewood, CO), pictured with Surefire X300 weapon light in some pics. Recently added the Vickers extended slide release and the FDE Vickers mag release.

In the near future, I'm looking to grab a threaded barrel for it (as a suppressor host) and either Unity Tactical ATOM slide or a RMR-cut slide with front serrations.

Sold off my 1st Generation of Transformers a few months back and used the funds to buy a Gen4 19. Initially installed a NY1 and 3.5 connector but it seemed extremely heavy compared to my Gen3 17 and 26 with the same treatment. Replaced the parts with originals and now feels the same as the 17 and 26 - odd.

The new lipsey's gray frame Glock 20 with Inforce APL light, and the limited lipsey's FDE Glock 42. The gray frame looks a little less blue in person, but does have a blueish tint. Marketed as a gray though.

Thanks! No secrets really on getting the trigger guard smooth. Just sanding until it's smooth and polishing after. Some guys can get it to a mirror like finish which I haven't quite figured out yet though.

Edit: not sure what glock did different but the magazines really eject nicely from the gun compared to just falling out like other models. I like it.

True. My thinking is that for some folks who aren't running an RMR its more advantageous to have a slide milled for one and running a serrated plate that can be swapped for an RMR if desired later instead of having it milled twice. Idk. Made sense in my head.

Guy was trying to sell an RTF locally.... Dumbass tried to "lighten" the slide by crookedly dremeling windows in it, and he stippled over most of the frame, because.....? Of course $700 for a "rare custom" Glock. F'ing moron.

Doug at ATEi had us send in the RMRs along with the guns for milling. He said each RMR can fit a little different, not a "universal fit". With that knowledge I would say that any machining ought to wait until the RMR that goes with it is in hand. Not my area of expertise, but it damn sure is his.
