Here's a quick shot of my new normal EDC setup. Gun is, of course, a modified Glock 19. The knife is a stock Chris Reeve Large Sebenza 21 with "Ladder" Damascus. The blade is still pristine (LOVE the Damascus!), while the Ti handle is starting to get some wear, which IMO makes it look even better. A winning combo for sure!

I'm kidding bud. Sights are very subjective, I have a customer that I put these on all his guns, he loves them. I'm not a really a fan, I prefer black rear and a red front. Fast is whatever your eyes think is fast.

I'm not a fan of modifying my Glock frames but that looks to be professionally done. I would not hesitate to buy a Glock with stippling done like that, very well done!

I don't have any yet but I'll work on something over the weekend. If you have Instagram look up Jagerwerks and they have a ton of customer supplied photos of their slide work. This is my 2nd one I've had done by them.

The magwell is an Agency Arms. I have one on all my Glocks and especially love them on the G19 sized frames.

I don't like the longer surefire lights on a G19.

I like how the inforce is closer to the muzzle.

The X300 and especially X300U are significantly brighter, and probably better built (although I haven't had any issues with either APL). That being said, the APL is a lot shorter and a lot narrower, and it's still bright enough for most handgun purposes. I have enjoyed being able to carry with a mounted weapon light, something I couldn't comfortably do with the SF lights. The trade off is well worth it IMO if you are looking for something to carry concealed. If it's a duty/OWB purpose I'd stick with the SF.

How is the Incog for the 42/43? I just picked up a G43. No experience with the Incog. I really like the idea of open clips for carrying in some gym shorts I have that have a stout waistband.

I love it. I wish RCS had an eidilon for the 43, but the incog has performed well for appendix carry.

Gen 3 and Gen 4 G19s

My Gen 3 tuned by me with all Glock factory parts, very crisp break and quite accurate for a compact.
My Gen 4 unfired(new) tuned by me with all Glock factory parts including Gen 3 trigger bar, is quite different trigger press than the Gen 3, but not saying its bad. Gen 3 has a definite crisp break with a hint of overtravel and the Gen 4 has a softer release. Not sure if I prefer one over the other.....still need to shoot my Gen 4. I am waiting for another factory Glock Gen 4 G19 upper to come back from L&M Precision (RMR, front serrations and re-finish in black nitride)

plan to give them both a workout this winter!

all frame work done by me or a co-worker. Still looking for a way to match the factory squares on the Gen 4 as the front strap and side flats will get that treatment.

On a serious note, I could see how the blaze orange GLOCK could create a safety SNAFU as there are training guns like blue guns and red guns. But as usual common sense applies.

How do you like the rmr on the baby glock?
Definite learning curve after 30 years of iron sights. Now my brain wants to constantly have a perfect sight picture through the TV screen. Huge benefits at distance, need more dry & live fire for the close stuff. Will take some reps for the brain and trigger finger to agree on what is an acceptable sight picture for each range.
After much consideration I went with the baby Glock because sight radius is a non issue and I've been running G26's for about the past 10 years as a daily carry anyway.

No the stipple job is home brew. WOTG is doing frame work though and from what I've seen it's on point.

I think im going to give that a run. I cant imagine a better way to get such a sharp clean edge especially as a DIY project.
I also want to cerakote the frame & keep the stipple black (two tone frame)... i assume its the same process of sanding down the area to be stippled... all other mods would have to be done prior to coating

Mr. Holloway's statement is valid. Decking that area down has the potential to compromise the integrity of the slide rails.

That was a customer's gun and I'm told that a design change in affect that will address this concern. I'm unaware of any current issues with that design coming from that shop.

Nothing special here other than two things. The first is that this one was free! I had won a certificate for a free pistol at a GSSF match (I actually won twice) and finally got this G19 the other week. Other than putting the Ameriglo Hackathorns on it, it's bone stock. Second thing is that it's one of the best shooting pistols I own. I'm shooting this thing better than my G35 or even my ATEi G19 with RMR. I slapped the XC-1 on it and it's immediately been moved to my carry pistol replacing my beloved Sig P320 for the moment. Other than a few trigger jerks at 25yds during last nights indoor GSSF league I was pretty much spot on. Shooting just a touch high with my 147gr load, but close enough by far. I was already contemplating triggers and a S3F barrel but I'm thinking this one is staying exactly the way it is.

I need to find me the right light....and hoping Streamlight will come out with a lower cost alternative to the XC-1 in 2017.

I want a light that stays even or behind the muzzle and if XC-1 is it....then I will find a decent one used but will hold out till late Jan 2017 and just use what I have.

That's a clean looking beavertail backstrap chop! How'd you do it? Dremel??

I used a sharp pair of scissors to cut to length, some sandpaper to dull the edge and roll the corners. Then lightly hit the new edge with a dremel felt polish wheel with compound already imbedded in the felt.

Probably took a couple of minutes.

theyre pearce grip +2 extensions. I went looking for them again the other day and it appears pearce has discontinued them. If I was doing it again Id just get the factory +2 extensions, or nowadays, magpul 21rd pmags
