Anyone know the difference?

Yesterday I bought a 250 round box of speer GDHP 124gr. After bringing it home I looked at the box again and it says GDHP 124gr practice ammo. Does anyone know the difference between 124gr practice ammo and 124 gr regular ammo?

It's ammunition that didn't meet some specification(s) of the manufacturer or buyer in some way. It may or may not meet the same performance standards of the regular GDHP load. It will perform acceptably as a training round, thus its reclassification as such.
